China Renewable energy consumption ranks first in the world
According to the preliminary calculation of the National Bureau of statistics, China's GDP in 2019 is 99086.5 billion yuan, and the total economic output is close to 100 trillion yuan. The annual average exchange rate reached 14.4 trillion US dollars, ranking second in the world.

In 2019, China's GDP grew by 6.1% over the previous year, ranking among the world's major economies in terms of economic growth, significantly higher than the global economic growth, ranking first among the economies with a total economic volume of more than US $1 trillion, contributing about 30% to the world's economic growth, and continuously becoming the main driving force for the world's economic growth.

In recent years, with the accelerated pace of energy transformation, China's energy structure continues to optimize.

In 2019, the installed power generation capacity of the whole country is 2010660000kw, an increase of 5.8% over the end of last year. Among them, the installed capacity of thermal power is 119055 million KW, an increase of 4.1%; the installed capacity of hydropower is 356.4 million KW, an increase of 1.1%; the installed capacity of nuclear power is 48.74 million KW, an increase of 9.1%; the installed capacity of wind power is 21.05 million KW, an increase of 14.0%; the installed capacity of solar power is 204.68 million KW, an increase of 17.4%. Hydropower, nuclear power, wind power and solar power accounted for 27.7% of the total power generation, an increase of 1.0 percentage point over the previous year.
